And RPG inspired by cRPG’s of the past, incorporating aspects from point-and-click adventure games.

The Dwarf Run stars dwarf Dalain Stonecruncher, with him and his three allies — Zenn, Ionor, and Barbados — starting off proceedings by going on an expedition to an underworld temple. The game features eight chapters that should provide around fifteen hours of game time, turn-based battles using a ruleset based on early AD&D editions that can be controlled manually or automatically, and an expansive plot containing humour and numerous twists and turns.

The Dwarf Run is a singleplayer title developed in Unity, set in a true classic adventure that is not over-priced. Plus, Alexander Mirdzveli is a huge fan of CRPG’s, like Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition and Divinity: Original Sin, etc.
And being the first game ever released from the independent developer, the title focuses on solid gameplay, not on flashy content.
The Dwarf Run is available on Steam for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC, priced at $8.99/£5.99/€8.99, with a 15% launch discount, but only until October 28, 2015.
